The moment my eyes glanced at “Mentorship for a Year“, it was like the cosmic order had shifted and aligned itself to bring this gift right to my inbox. The geeks from The Big Bang Theory would be amazed.
I just got back from spending 11 months traveling across Asia with my fiancee, something that my soul had been aching to do for years. With that part of me partially satisfied, I committed to a few new things for 2013 and beyond.
My #1 focus for 2013 is business and finally feeding the starving entrepreneur inside me. I’ve always dreamed and talked about starting businesses that can allow me to create my own version of freedom as well as delivering my art to the world. This year is the year of truly making a difference and designing my own map.
Oddly enough, I sent an email to Corbett just days before asking if their was any way I could help him with some projects or potentially pay for his amazing services. I was also mentioning plans for my kick-ass motivational retreat in Mexico coming up…but unfortunately sent it to an old email address I had on file which was then returned to me like this:
But then I saw this in my inbox:
Wow!
Seriously. Wow.
I immediately felt tense. Tense in the sense that I was a kid looking at a big unmarked Christmas present that I couldn’t open just yet.
Excited for the possibility of what it could be.
Only this is better than a regular gift. It’s better because it’s not just a physical material gift. Instead, it’s the chance to CREATE and to CONNECT and to build something that can really have an IMPACT.
I want this real bad.
But to cut things short for the sake of Corbett’s time, here is my current working project I’d like to create.
I call it High Life Creative.
Through creative and thought-provoking writing, interviews, videos, and courses…
- I want to inspire, guide, and show people that life is a blank map waiting for the artist to draw it.
- I want to invoke a surge of energy within people to drop societies routine and make love to life.
- I want to help them wake that inner artist deep within and creatively create the high-life they want.
Whether it’s working at a dream job that impacts the world or a lifestyle business that makes them glow.
Whether it’s hittin’ the gym and designing their bodies or becoming more aware of what we consume both internally and externally.
Whether it’s creating an awesome community at home or traveling the world to see what’s on the other side.
Maybe it’s designing a product that changes lives or raising money for a groundbreaking charity.
Whatever the “dream” is, it can become reality when we think creatively, embrace uncertainty, and push forward through every obstacle in our way.
I want to be that push. That push that unleashes them out into the world.
